Solar Eclipse Window Tinting SEMA 2018 Coverage
Every year we at Solar Eclipse Window Tinting have the opportunity to travel to Las Vegas for the SEMA show which if you don’t know is an automotive trade show that is not open to the public. Shop owners and employees travel from all around the globe to Las Vegas to visit automotive manufactures and aftermarket parts manufactures to see new products coming out in the near future and vehicles builds companies have been working on. I get to visit some of the automotive window tint companies and see what new window tint products are coming out and possibly what products we may bring to San Diego to offer to our customers. The show itself is huge and if you want to walk the whole show and take your time it can take 2 possibly 3 days. I remember years ago I would do the whole show in 1-2 days but in today’s world with all the youtube personalities and rise of social media video and picture taking it can be quite the challenge walking around an already busy show. Of course we took tons of pictures but picked out the best for you all to see and I hope you enjoy our coverage.
This year at Sema seemed to be a year of the Porsche with so many companies having some kind of Porsche build but there was one in particular we were so eager to see. Carlin and Nat of Impact Performance in San Mateo California built a 1992 Porsche 964 and fitted it with an original Japanese wide body kit made by Sunburst of Japan. The guys at Impact did an incredible job with the build in a very little amount of time but the attention to detail was not skipped in any way or on any part of the car.
For the past couple of years the guys at Kuhl Racing in Japan bring out a car or two they have been working on. If you don’t follow or know about them these guys spray the car with liquid metal and hand engrave the whole car….this year they did a 1958 Chevy Impala and the detail work is incredible.
The Lexus LS500 was also a car I wanted to see and we were able to see 2 at Sema. The Lexus booth had one fitted with Artisan Spirit kit and fenders and T-Demand of Japan also had one slammed to the ground and fitted with all their suspension components. Both car were clean and left Sema Patrons dreaming.
